Robinson Returns to Dunk Contest
Dwight Howard will defend his Slam Dunk title during NBA All-Star Weekend in Phoenix in February. He'll battle Memphis’ Rudy Gay and past winner Nate Robinson of the Knicks.
Robinson won in 2006 by dunking over retired pro, Spud Webb, a undersized NBA star and Dunk Champ himself. He competed in 2007, but couldn't get past a tough Gerald Green, then of the Celtics. Green, now with the Timberwolves, lost last year's contest to "Superman" Dwight Howard in 2008.
A fan vote will pick the fourth competitor for this year's dunk contest, but as it stands, the three said players are in.
